Milo & Lola at the pumpkin patch...

On Friday we all bundled up in our turtlenecks and sweaters and headed down to Plattsbugh to pick out our pumpkins. We decided that this year we wanted to go to Rulf's Orchard. I've gone to Rulf's since I was a little kid and we used to camp right across the street every summer. We used to stop by often for fruit, pies and old fashioned candy. I have great memories of the place and Jason had never been there, so since we needed pumpkins anyway, we figured, let's go now. So happy we did. The kids had a great time! Milo wanted to carry every pumpkin around with him, and Lola found some very tasty leaves to munch on (can't wait to get past this stage). We also picked out a big, fat, juicy apple pie to bring home along with a bag of apples. The pie is so good... mmmmmm! But Milo didn't like it. So, more for us!

Milo picked out a pumpkin for Lola. I think that it reminded him of her because it is also very short and round...
Our sweet little pumpkin butt...

Lola was making her monkey noises for us. It was quite fitting that she was also wearing her monkey sweater...
Milo liked this pumpkin a lot, but he couldn't lift it...

So, he hugged it instead...

Another favorite pumpkin, the biggest at the patch...

Shockingly big, in fact...

Milo stopping to say hello to a dog...

What busy, busy babies...

Sounds like it was a great day. Thanks for all of the great pictures. I love fall. I wish it lasted about 3 times as long as it does. The kids look great and seem to be having a wonderful time picking out their pumpkins.
Love Mom xoxoxo
