Saturday in Plattsburgh

Saturday was beautiful, so we brought the kids to Point au Roche in the morning. We walked on the trail and found some pretty little flowers growing up through the old leaves. They smelled so good and we taught Milo how to smell one. He smiled when he smelled it and was so happy when we let him hold it while we walked. We were impressed by how gentle Milo was being with the little flower. Lola was enjoying the fresh air also, but in a different way; she slept for our whole walk! After our walk Milo and I went on the slide and then Milo when on the swing. He loved swinging and laughed his head off the whole time. He had so much fun and even held mommy's hands and walked out of the park like a big boy. After lunch we went to the mall and Milo learned to drink from a straw. He was very proud of himself! Then Lola needed a bottle so we went to Borders (thats where the comfy chairs are) and when we got there we discovered that a band was setting up to play, so while I fed Lola, Jason and Milo went to watch the band. Milo loved it! He swung his lovey around and chewed on his toes while the band played. They noticed Milo and were laughing while trying to play. When they finished their song Milo clapped his little hands like a maniac! He is growing so fast. Both kids were so good all weekend. I guess we really won't have to wait until they are 7 before we ever go out again... haha

Babies in the Hood!

Lola is growing so fast and yesterday she wore her first big girl outfit, a hoodie sweat suit from Grandma Greer. Milo has a sweat suit from Grandma Greer, too, and both kids wore them for our walk because it was too warm for a winter coat. Especially when we add blankets and a wind cover.

Our First Springtime Walk

The other day we finally had nice enough weather to take a walk outside. The kids liked their new stroller and it was nice to have just one stroller for both kids. We walked all around town and then we walked to the grocery store. We ended up spending an hour and a half outside and both kids slept for about an hour of it. It felt great to finally be able to get outside without freezing!
