On Monday, mommy and daddy got their work done early (thanks in part to Milo and Lola both waking up at 6am!), so we went to lunch at the mall and then we spent the afternoon at Point au Roche Beach. It was a bit chilly, but very sunny, so it was nice weather to play outside in!
Milo has recently discovered the world of accessories! On Sunday we sorted the kids clothing, swapped summer clothes with winter wear, moved some clothes from Milo's dresser into Lola's and weeded out items that were too small or too boyish. In the process, Milo decided that pajama's alone are just not enough. A man needs to accessorize! And so he ended up in his adorable outfit of pj's, touque and blue rubber clogs that were sent to him from his Auntie Ellen! He looked so cute that we just had to take some photos. So... here they are! There are also some pics of Lola playing around in her pear-stained turtle neck and one of her new-found talent: the tongue curl!
"We're all ready to party!" "Who da man? Haha, It's daddy!"Lola thinks that Nancy is silly...Nancy & Roxan let Milo sample the frosting...Lola wanted some too, and since grandpa lets her have whatever she wants...Mommy's last minute centerpiece made with the pretty sunflowers that daddy bought for her and Lola...
A sad attempt at a family self portrait... The fancy snack that daddy made Milo... Twinkle ears and her new bling... Lola cleaning up... Noodle head! Milo's first Starbuck's drink, a Banana Chocolate smoothie. Well, it started out as mommy's until SOMEBODY stole it! Oh and he was enjoying it so much that he had to borrow one of Lola's bibs.
